Chapter 7

 

It’s been a few weeks. Jimmy was over pretty much every day and it wasn’t bothering me.

 

Me: hey

Jimmy: hey J

I sat down beside him on the couch.

Jimmy: so what are you doing tonight?

Me: I don’t know…want to see a movie or something?

Jimmy: yeah J

Me: ok J

Matt walked in the room

Matt: dude we need to get to Brian’s house for practise!

Jimmy: yeah ok see you later Em

Me: yeah…wait!

I got up and kissed his lips before he left.

Me: bye J

Jimmy: uh…bye J

Thank god Matt didn’t see me. He walked out the door and then they zoomed off in Matt’s car.

 

Later

 

I was getting ready for the movies. I just hope he doesn’t pick out anything too scary. Charlotte, Gem, Mackenzie and Star where over.

Charlotte: I don’t think he will I think you too will be too busy making out!

Me: UH!

Gemma: yeah!

 Me: GEMMA!

Gemma: what! You LOVE him!

Me: I do

Star: WHAT!

When I said that she almost fell off the bed

Me: yeah!

Mackenzie: oh my god she actually admitted it!

Gemma: wow! SOMEONE CALL A DOCTOR EMILY’S SICK!

Me: Gemma!

…Emily’s sick?

All the girls went quiet.

Me: no!?

Jimmy looked in the door

Jimmy: hi

Me: hey

I could hear Mackenzie and Gemma giggling in the background.

I just rolled my eyes.

Me: ok uh see you guys later

Charlotte: bye HAVE FUN!

Gemma: more like PLAY SAFE!

Me: GEMMA!

Gemma: HAHAHAHAHA…OH! AH!

BOOM

On the floor she fell off my bed.

Me: haha!

Star: JUST GET OUTTA HERE!

Me: ok bye!

They shut the door behind us and we made our way too the theatre.

 

Gemma’s POV

 

So after Emily and Jimmy left all the girls and I just kind of lied around being bored.

Me: what do you want to do?

Mackenzie: I don’t know

Star: yeah I’m bored

Charlotte: yeah

 

JUST THEN

Matt pokes his head thru the door.

Matt: uh girls can I steal charlotte?

Me: NO!

Matt: what! Why?

Me: because I said so!

Matt: uh.

He went away

 

Later

 

Matt pokes his head in the door again.

Matt: can I have her now?

Me: NO!

Matt: uh…I’m in the uniform saying in a weird “sexy” voice

Charlotte just looked over to me with the “OH PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LET ME GO!!!” expression on her face

Me: uh FINE!

Charlotte: YAYAYAYAYAY!!!! HEHEHE

She got up and ran over to matt who was in that damn uniform again.

Mackenzie: PLAY SAFE NOW!!!

Matt: OH we will!

Charlotte: MATTHEW! Hitting him lightly

Matt: what

The went off into his room

Me: Mackenzie! That’s what I say!

Mackenzie: so can’t I say it too?

Me: uh…NO! HAHA

She just rolled her eyes.

End of POV

 

Theatre

 

We where in the middle of the dumbest movie EVER!

Me: I’m bored

Jimmy: yeah wanna leave?

Me: yeah

 

We left the theatre and headed for the park.

 

We walked around for a few hours holding hands and talking about stuff.

Me: so am I your girlfriend? I randomly asked

Jimmy: uh…you want to be?

Me: um ok J

Jimmy: ok then you are now. J

Me: ok

He wrapped his arm around me and we walked to his house.

Chapter 6

 

            When we pulled apart my head was spinning and it wasn’t from the alcohol. I looked up at Jimmy wide eyed and kind of scared.

“Uh” is all he said

“Uh…um…” oh I don’t know what to say.

“Want to go home?” he asked

“Uh…NO! I said

“Ok then where do you want to go?” he asked

“Anywhere but here” I replied

“Um ok…let’s go” he said

We started walking around the park and things got less awkward but one thing that he did do that was really cute was when we walked around I felt him take my hand in his. J

 

Later

“What time is it Jim?” I asked

“Uh like 1 am” he said smiling at me.

“Oh ok” I said smiling back.

“Want to go home now?” he asked a bit sad

“Uh I should I think” I said funny cause I really didn’t want to leave him.

 

Home

1:30am

 

I was standing outside of the house. It was quiet I guess Mom came home after all HAHA! So it was just me and Jimmy.

“Well I guess I’ll see you around?” he said.

“Yes how about tomorrow?” I asked

“Uh…sure” he said a little confused hehe he was so cute like that *OMG DID I JUST THINK THAT!*

“Ok…bye” I said while opening the door.

“Yeah bye” he said

“Emily wait!” he quickly said

“Yeah”

“Uh…” he came over and kissed me again. “Night” he said smiling

“Goodnight” I smiled back

I watched him walk home and then went inside.

 

I couldn’t get the huge stupid smile off my face oh god I loved him…but…huh?

 

“And where have you been?”

“Uh…out” I said

my mom was sitting over in the corner of the living room.

“And you never told Matthew or Charlotte?”

“Charlotte knew! And Matt was too drunk to know!”

“Oh I know Matt was drunk he was dancing around in his uniform like a retard…charlotte was chasing after him to stop”

“OH god!” I tried to hide my laughter

“Now who were you with?” she went serious again

“I was only out with Jimmy”

“Oh ok…don’t do it again you hear me!”

“Yes mom”

I headed up to my room

“Oh and Emily…are you dating him?” she sounded curious

“Uh…I don’t think…maybe” I really didn’t know

“Oh ok”

I kept walking up the stairs and into my room. The smile on my face just wouldn’t go away. God I feel for him…I hope he was happy now!

Chapter 5

 

Summer

 

High school is over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it’s now summer! J I really couldn’t have been happier! So like any other time we had to party it up old style with the loud music and alcohol!

 

My house

8pm

 

The music had started an hour ago, making the house vibrate with the beat of it’s sound. Friends of Matt’s and my friends were over, drinking, smoking and god knows what else.

 

I was sitting with Charlotte and Star they where the only two “normal” ones left.

Gemma had been downing bottles of JD’s and I think Mackenzie was in the bathroom with Zack.

 

Everything was going great but yet felt weird…someone was missing

 

“Emily have you seen Jimmy?” yelled Charlotte over the music

“What?!” I yelled back

“Come on” she said

We headed outside.

“I’m sorry what did you say?” I asked

“Have you seen Jimmy I haven’t seen him here yet” she said

“Oh uh no I haven’t I wonder why he isn’t here yet?” I asked

“I don’t know” she said

Gemma and Brian stumbled past us and landed on the grass outside. He started kissing her and they were rolling around making out. I just gave Charlotte that “Let’s get outta here” look and we both headed inside.

 

 

Later

10pm

 

Ok in the past 2 hours nothing really changed except the fact that Jimmy still hadn’t shown up. But why was I worrying this was my party too…Even though I did want him…here.

 

“Ok that’s it I have to find him” I said getting up and heading for the door.

“Well your not going alone are you?” asked Charlotte

“Yeah I will you stay here if I need you I will call have Fun! God we only graduate once!” I stated

“Yeah you’re right ok! Bye” she went off probably looking for Matt who was probably so drunk by now that he was wearing that fucking uniform and dancing to the funky chicken or something and we all know that he hates both just as much.

I walked out and headed for Jimmy’s house.

 

Jimmy’s House

 

There was no sign of life in the house it was dark and quiet no one was home. I yelled for him a few times but there was no answer. “Um I wonder if he’s at the party yet.” I called charlotte and he wasn’t. Ok this isn’t good.

 

I got back in my car and drove off. I he wasn’t at his house, or at my house there was only one other place he would go…the park.

 

Park

 

I drove around until I saw a tall thin figure sitting on one of the benches by the pond thing.

“Jimmy!” I yelled it was dark so I couldn’t really tell if it was him.

He looked over and for sure it was him

“Oh…what do you want?” he asked not looking at me. Was he angry?

“Um well I was kind of wondering where you were. You never showed up at my house so…”

“Oh wow look who actually cares” he said

“Jimmy is something wrong?” I asked something had to be come on!

“Yes!... Emily I try my best for you to like me and whenever I’m around you I fuck everything up… besides you hate me” he said still not looking at me.

“Jimmy I have never hated you!” I said

“Well the other day… I cut him off

“The other day you wouldn’t stop! You knew I never really felt that way about you as you do for me…until tonight…now” I said

“What?” he was looking at me in confusion

“Don’t tell me “What” you know what!” I screamed at him *whoa why did I get angry like this around him?*

“Well I don’t know! Emily I can’t read your mind!” he screamed back getting off the bench.

“Well…Well…Well UH!” boom right then and there it happened my feelings got to the best of me. Right there and right now I was kissing him! It happened so quickly I couldn’t even think about what I was doing. My brain must have not been function right that night or was it simply the fact that I hated to admit I Loved Jimmy Sullivan? I think it was…oh my god…

Chapter 4

 

Ok so it has been a couple of weeks now. Jimmy has been over like everyday and it hasn’t always been just to see Matt. … HE’S DRIVING ME CRAZY AND IN THE LIKE INSANE WAY AND NOT IN THE DIRTY Way you little nastiest!

 

I was sitting at the table on the laptop writing and essay for History. He wouldn’t stop staring at me. He sat on the opposite side of me and just looked at me. Why was he looking at me!?

 

“Hey dude what’s up” asked Matt walking into the kitchen

“Nothing” said Jimmy smiling at me.

Ok so ever since he woke up with me, he wouldn’t stop. It was eating at me slowly…the fact that I just might have liked him…a little.

 

“Oh Emily I was talking to Charlotte and her and the girls are going to the mall later and…”

“YES! I will! Tell her YES!” I said getting up and then walking out of the room

“She wanted to know if you wanted to go ok what’s up with her?” he asked

“I don’t know” grinned Jimmy

Even though he did lying son of a bitch.

 

I ran upstairs got ready. Then waited outside for Gemma, Charlotte, Star and Mackenzie.

I was sitting on the deck when the door opened and someone came out and sat beside me.

“What’s up?” asked Matt

“Nothing” I said

“Something has to be Emily. Did Jimmy say something to you?” he asked

“No! He… I told you about the other night right…”

“Yeah did he bring it up” he was starting to get a little angry

“No it’s just he acts weird around me and that makes me angry I don’t know” I said

“Oh” he said

We just sat there waiting for the girls to come.

 

Later

 

We were walking around the mall for the past 2 hours and now it was sort of getting a little boring.

“I’m tired” whined Gemma

“How bouts we go get some food” suggested Star

“Yeah ok” I said

We made our way thru the food court of the mall. Surprisingly there weren’t that many people around. We got our food and sat down at a table across from the KFC.

 “Great now I have to go home to Jimmy staring at me again” I signed

“Oh come on Emily it’s only Jimmy it can’t be that awful!” said Mackenzie

“Oh you don’t know he like stares her down and has the gayest looking smile on his face” smirked Charlotte while she drank her coke.

“Really” said Gemma kind of interested

“Yeah after awhile it gets really annoying” I sighed again

We soon finished up and headed home.

 

Home Again

 

I was a bit surprised not to see Matt or Jimmy around when I walked thru the door.

“Hey Mom I’m Home!” I yelled

“Oh hey honey” she said as she came over

“Yeah so where did Matt and Lover boy go?” I said while rolling my eyes at Jimmy’s little pet name.

“Oh yeah they left like an hour ago I think they went to band practise at Brian’s house. She said.

“Oh ok”

 

I headed up to my room and put my new things away.

 

Later

 

I walked downstairs again. Got some food and went back up all the guys were over but really I didn’t care, the only one that tried talking to me was Jimmy but I just simply ignored him.

“Hey Emily” he said

 I could see from the corner of my eyes that matt was rolling his.

I walked up the stairs again and heard him say to the guys “What is with her does she hate me or something?”

Then I heard Zack say back to him “Dude your over here all the time and like almost stocking her do you think she likes it?”

I looked over to him after Zack said that to him from upstairs. He looked really sad…should I just say…yes and just go out with him?

Chapter 3

 

Things where going by too fast. Nothing made sense. Like I knew mom and dad were fighting but nothing this bad. I was just glad that matt was home.

We jumped in the car after packing what things we really needed which wasn’t that much really. And zoomed off.

 

100 miles in the middle of no where.

Me: where the fuck are we?

Matt: I don’t know?!

Me: great!

Mom was asleep in the back.

We kept driving until we reached a hotel like thing.

 

Next Day

 

Mom: uh I don’t know where were going to go?

Me: I don’t know.

 

Year Later

 

Ok so now I was 17 and Matt was 19. After that fight we all moved into a little house not far from school but dad still didn’t know where we were.

 

So I walked out from my room to see matt on the phone with someone. But then soon got off.

Me: who was that?

Matt: guess!

Me: I don’t know Charlotte?

Matt: no that was JIMMY! YEAH EMILY THERE HOME!

Me: what! Your kidding!

Matt: no!

Me: there home!

Matt: yeah and there coming over anytime now!

Me: what! Oh shit!

I ran back to my room cause I was still in my pj’s

 

Later

I walked out of the room in my skinny jeans and Level 27 shirt on.

Walked into the kitchen to see Mackenzie, Gemma, Charlotte, Star, Zack, Brian, Matt, Johnny and Jimmy.

Me: hey

They all turned around

Zack: EMILY!!!!!

Me: ZACKY!!!!

I hugged him and the others.

Until it came down to Jimmy.

Me: hey

Jimmy: hey

OH MY GOD HAS HE EVER CHANGED!!!!!

Jimmy: so do I get a hug?

I had to smile at that.

Me: yeah sure

I hugged him and then everyone went to practise which hasn’t happened in a long time.

 

After Practise

 

Matt: ok that’s it was officially SUCK!

Me: well you know it’s been almost 2 years since you’ve played together.

Johnny: haha I’m better then all of you!

Brian: you know I blew up a guy’s head with a grenade he was AROUND YOUR SIZE!

Johnny: epp ok

Everyone: HAHAHA

So we were all chilling, drinking the usual when we all heard a scream from the kitchen.

We all jumped up and ran in the kitchen to see what was going on.

Gemma: OH MY GOD!!!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH BRIAN!!!

Me: whoa what’s going on?

Gemma: ME AND BRIAN ARE GETTING MARRIED!!!!!

Me: oh! Congrads!

I hugged her and so did the other girls.

 

Later = really drunk

 

So I stumbled into my room and collapsed on the bed. But the strange feeling was I wasn’t alone.

 

Next Morning

 

I woke up with arms wrapped around me and a drunken soldier beside. Yeah that’s right Jimmy was right beside me

Me: WHOA!

Jimmy: huh? Uh hey!

Me: uh hey?...what are you doing in here?

Jimmy: I don’t know?

Me: haha ok

Chapter 2

 

Month’s Later

 

I lied in my bed. Lately nothing was going right; I was getting in trouble for…well being me. Mom and Dad were always fighting, my life was always depressing. But worst of all MATT WAS GONE! Like not dead gone or gone as away but Miss in Action! No one knew where the fuck he was. Not Jimmy, Brian or Zack.

Speaking of Jimmy we have been emailing each other. And once and a while we would chat on msn. For once I could say I missed the guy and I think I was getting feelings for him!. I know shocking right!

But back to the fact that my only brother was MISSING! God I don’t know what to do.

 

Day we found out

Mom was on the phone, like always charlotte and the girls were over…oh and Johnny can’t forget about him. We where sitting at the table playing cards cause there was nothing on TV and it was kind of hard to practise with out a band and only a bassist.

Mom hung up the phone and she was in tears.

Me: what’s wrong?

Mom: it’s Matthew

Charlotte and Me: what!

Me: mom what happened?

Mom: he’s gone!

Me: oh…oh my god!

Tears filled my eyes

Mom: they just don’t know where he is

Me: huh?

Mom: missing in action

Me: oh so he could be alive?

Mom: maybe?

Me: oh my god.

Charlotte was sitting there stunned.

Mackenzie and Gemma were trying to see if she was ok but there was no answer.

 

That was 5 weeks ago.

 

Back to now.

 

I was getting ready for school when there where rocks being thrown at my window. I went over to see who was doing it. But when I looked out I couldn’t believe it.

I opened the window.

Me: MATT!!!!!!!!!

Matt: haha hey!!

Me: what the fuck?!

Matt: I’ll explain just get down here

Me: ok!

There were so many questions that needed to be answered.

I ran down the stairs and outside.

Me: MATTY!!!!!

I ran up to him and hugged him

Matt: hey!

Me: why are you home?

Matt: ok once I got off the plane and looked around something told me “dude your kidding right” so I was planning my escape right so I met this dude who had this plane and I made him a deal if I could make his bar famous he would send me home. All I need to do was get Jimmy, Brian and Zack to play something and the bar was a hit! That’s why I’m home!

Me: wow! Do mom and dad know and what about charlotte?

Matt: oh shit no!

Me: well you better tell them

Matt: yeah I will later but first I have to see charlotte…you might not see her in school today

Me: ok

I rolled my eyes and ran back inside to get ready.

 

School went by slowly

 

Home

I walked in the house.

Mom: how was school?

Me: good…WHOA!

Mom: shh dads asleep

Me: mom did he do this to you?

Matt: did he do what… oh my god!

Mom: OH MY GOD! MATTHEW!

Tears came to her eyes at the sight of my brother and the fact that he was alive.

Mom: you alright!

Matt: yeah but what happened to you?

Mom: well your father…

Matt: HE DID THIS

Dad: COULD YOU SHUT UP OUT THERE I’M TRYING TO FUCKING SLEEP!

Matt: NO!

Me: oh no

My dad marched out

Dad: WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE!

Matt: to save mom and Emily obviously from you. But I don’t matter right now.

Dad: well you’re going back over seas now!

Matt: no!

Dad: YES!

The next thing was a shock. Matt punched our father right across the jaw line and he was out cold.

Mom and Me: UH!

Matt: let’s get the fuck out of here!

Chapter 1

 

We stood there hundreds of men and women dressed in uniform. Ready to fight for there country. Why this had to happen you may ask. I don’t know. But really I wish I did. Brothers, Sisters, Mothers, Fathers, Cousins, Friend’s all lined up standing tall. Ready for the unknown. But willing to fight.

My mother was crying seeing my brother Matthew standing there straight faced, standing tall looking proud but I knew he was scared for his life.

How did a guy like my brother join this fucked up mess? And why did his friends? They wanted to make music not kill. They wanted fans that chanting there songs not hear the screams of people dying. How did this all happen and so quick?

Charlotte my best friend and Matthew’s girlfriend kiss him for possibly the last time but no one wanted to think that.

Matt took one last look at all of us before heading over to Jimmy, Brian and Zack.

Charlotte: I can’t believe this!

Johnny: well see it and weep.

Star: JOHNNY!

Johnny: what! It’s true!

Me: BUT YOU DON’T GET IT! YOU’RE NOT THE ONE OUT THERE KILLING PEOPLE BECAUSE IT’S YOUR JOB! YOU’RE NOT THE ONE SEEING EVIL HAUNT THE STREETS AT NIGHT HEARING THE SCREAMS OF DEATH, TRYING TO RUN AWAY FROM YOUR HOME!!

Everyone was quiet they knew I was right.

 My mom: ok that’s enough how bout we get going now.

Me: ok

Charlotte, Star, Gemma, Mackenzie and I got in my car Johnny went with us too but we were all pretty mad at him still.

 

The ride home was quiet

 

I pulled up into my driveway and everyone got out.

We all headed upstairs to my room but before we got there we all had to pass Matt’s room it looked so empty without most of his things in here. I hated the sight.

Charlotte: what’s that?

Me: I don’t know

We walked over and on his bed was 2 envelops with my name on one and charlotte’s on the other.

Me: it’s for us.

Charlotte opened hers first.

 

Dear my love  

Charlotte: oh my god it’s from Matt

Me: ok read it!

Charlotte: ok

Dear my love,

I know your going to miss me on this hell ride that I have to go thru but promise me something…promise me that when I come home that you will marry me, and that you will be there for me. But why do I have to say this I know you will. Charlotte I love you and if I don’t make it thru this…I’m just happy you know that

I love you forever and always- Matthew

 

P.S I hope you say yes and look in the envelop.

 

By the time she was done reading the letter charlotte was in tears.

Me: what’s inside?

Charlotte: oh my god it’s beautiful!

She pulled out a diamond ring.

Me: well are you going to marry him?

Charlotte: course I’m going to marry the fucker! Oh my god! YES!

Everyone: YEAH!!!WOO!!!!

Everyone hugged her.

Charlotte: now it’s your turn you have to read yours!!! Or else I have to kill you!

Me: ok I will haha

 

I opened the envelop and by my surprise it wasn’t from Matt it was from Jimmy.

Me: it’s from Jimmy

Everyone: ooo

Me: shut up!

That’s when they started giggling.

I just rolled my eyes.

 

Dear Emily,

I know you think I’m a good for nothing prick but baby I love you and I need you. Ok that’s not how I’m starting this letter but it’s true. I do love you I just wish you would see that. Now I already have read Matt’s letter and I know that this one won’t be as good as his but at least I’m trying. I want you in my life; I don’t care if it’s this one or the afterlife. Please write to me as much as you can! Please!

I love you forever and always (haha stole that from Matt!)

Ok so it's taking place now. but instead of A7X being only in a band there going TO WAR! AHHH. ok so Matthew is my brother and there is a slight chance he could be dead!? no one knows though. so at home you think everything could be great well im stuck in high school, parents fighting, Matt's gone, life sucks what do i do? ...oh and did i mention NO BOYFRIEND!

Chapter 11

 

FF 5 YEARS LATER

 

Me: BRIAN COME ON HONEY YOUR GOING TO BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!

Brian: I’m coming mommy!!!

He made his way down the stairs.

Me: do you have everything?

Brian: yes mommy

He just glared at me with those brown eyes.

Me: don’t look at me like that; when you do you look too much like your father.

When I said that Brian (Syn) came from behind me wrapping those tattooed arms around me.

Brian: yeah and isn’t that scary now!

Me: yes it is! Now can you take him to school I have to get Anna up.

Brian: yes dear he got the keys and took Brian to school.

Me: have a good day! J

Brian: yeah whatever.

Me: sound happy!

Brian: meh!

Me: oh my god!

 

Recap!

 

Ok so a lot has happened in 5 years. First of all me and Brian got married! And then about 2 months after that I found out I was Pregnant with our second child Anna. She is now 3 years old she looks so much like me it’s not funny at all. So Brian now is 6 and is in grade 1 he hates school already and acts way too much like his dad (grr) but I guess in the end that’s not too bad. A7X has put out 3 albums getting ready for the fourth and I couldn’t be happier. When I see Brian play its like WOW and that’s the man I married! WOW! Yay me!!!! I turned around to see my sleepy three year old daughter walking down the stairs.

 Me: morning honey!

Anna: Are Brian and Daddy gone?

 Me: yes dear they left 2mins ago

Anna: oh…is daddy coming home?

She always seemed to ask that ever since Brian has come home from tour but I don’t blame her.

Me: yes dear he should be home anytime now.

Anna: oh ok.

I picked her up

Me: you want some breakfast?

Anna: yes please

Me: ok

I got her some toast and she started eating it when Brian came back thru the door.

Anna: …DADDY!!!!!!

She got up and ran over to him.

Brian: oh hey princess!

He hugged her and then brought her back over to the table where she started eating again.

Me: is everything ok?

Brian: uh well…

Me: what’s wrong?

Brian: can I talk to you down stairs?

Me: yeah

We both walked down stairs…umm I wonder what’s going on?

Me: Brian what is it?

Brian: something’s wrong Emily…Jimmy’s in the hospital

Me: what! Oh my god is he ok?

Brian: I really don’t know…nobody does.

Me: what happened?

Brian: well apparently he was driving home from work last night and some dude decided he was going to run him over in his truck.

Me: oh my god!

As everyone knows Jimmy or The Rev was A7X drummer and a really close friend to Brian and me.

Me: but who would do this? a sane person would never do this!

Brian: I know

Me: you have to see him!

Brian: yeah ok you want to come?

Me: uh no that would mean bringing Anna so yeah you go just tell him to get better soon ok.

Brian: yeah ok

He kissed my cheek and then headed back upstairs and out the door.

Anna:…MOMMY WHERE’S DADDY GOING?

Me: to see Jimmy.

Anna: oooo jimmy! Can I go too!

Me: no dear I’m sorry

Anna: aw

Jimmy always acted like a little kid around her, he was like her best friend…you could put it.

 

Hours Later

 

Brian: mommy?

Anna: BRIAN!!!

Brian: ah!

Me: Anna come back here! I was still trying to get her dressed at this point.

Me: hey Bri where’s your father?

Brian: he never came.

Me: WHAT! What do you mean he never came?

Brian: I had to take the bus. He never came to the school.

Me: oh?

Oh no did something go wrong with Jimmy? Or did Brian just lose track of time?

 

Later

 

A very Drunk Brian walked thru the door, Zack and Johnny had to help him in.

Me: whoa?! What’s going on?

Brian: GET OFF OF ME! Pushing the guys aside

Johnny: after he found out about Jimmy he went out of control

Me: huh found out about Jimmy?

Zack: oh he didn’t call?

Me: NO WHAT HAPPENED?!

Zack: uh Emily…Jimmy’s gone

Brian: NO HE ISN’T STOP FUCKING SAYING HE’S GONE HE ISN’T!!!!

Tears fell from his eyes.

Me: oh my god

Anna and Brian were standing at the top of the stairs when they came in I was getting them ready for bed.

Anna: why is daddy yelling?

Little Brian: um I don’t know

Anna: daddy what’s wrong

Brian: GO TO BED!

Anna: daddy?

Brian: JUST GO TO FUCKING BED! NOW!

Anna started crying

Me: oh

Brian then slightly snapped out of it and ran up the stairs hugging her. I knew he really hated it when he had to yell at them and really he didn’t mean it.

Brian: I’m sorry princess I didn’t mean to yell at you.

Anna: daddy what’s going on?

Brian: well you see…Jimmy won’t be around anymore

Little Brian: he’s…dead? Tears were formed in his eyes now.

Brian:…yeah

Anna: NO! NO NO NO NO!!!!! She instantly started to cry.

Johnny and Zack left after all of this and the rest of the night was just a living hell

 

FF the funeral

I was a long and really hard ceremony a lot of crying. Some things funny other’s just enough to make you want to kill yourself. All the guys said a few words about him. A lot about the memories they had.

Grave yard.

Brian: god the last time I was in one of these was when we were shooting the parts for the Seize the Day video.

Me: oh yeah I remember that.

God it felt like yesterday, everything was good, everything was normal, high school, friends, partying, drinking, touring, then before you knew it, kids, family, and what next death? I would never have seen this coming if only I could change time and make it the way I wanted.

We all stood there. Everyone was gone but the band members and there girlfriends.

Chapter 10

 

I woke up with arms around me. Arms I missed so much. I turned over to see Brian still fast asleep. Umm I wonder what time he came in here… Oh well. I slowly got up and got ready for work.

 

Months Later

I walked out of the bathroom. Downstairs I could hear the TV on so I was guessing it was Little Brian. I walked down the stairs and looked in the room. For sure it was. Him sitting in front of the TV wide eyed and smile across his face. I loved it when he was happy.

I slowly creped over to the door opened it and walked out.

 

FF Work

 

On my desk papers where everywhere! Bills in one place, checks in the other. And a bunch of shit mixed in between.

Me: ARG!!!

Jacky passed by

Jacky: wow Em it looks like someone should get a raise!

Me: ugh don’t start!

Jacky: haha haha.

I got every thing organised after 2 hours and then finally started on the new project that my boss wanted me doing.

…Mommy!!!

I turned around to see my Brian’s.

Me: hey sweetheart!

Brian: oh I didn’t think you were that excited to see me!

Me: uh huh I glared at him while I took Brian away from him.

Brian: haha I’m only kidding.

Me: yeah I know that. … So how was your day?

 Brian: long…I missed you saying while kissing me.

Me: same here

We walked out of the building together. His right arm around me.

 

I put little bri in his car seat and not long after heading home did he fall asleep.

Me: aw looks like someone had a long day.

Brian: uh yeah after he found out that you left he started crying. Took me 30mins. to calm him down.

Me: (DAMN IT!) aw sorry babe

Brian: it’s ok.

He took my hand and kissed the top of it. I smiled at how romantic he could be at the perfect time.

The rest of the ride home was quiet.

 

Home

I managed to get Brian out of his car seat with out waking him (YES 5POINTS MOMMY!) took him up to his room and carefully placed him down in his bed. It had only been a few months but the older he got the more and more he looked like his daddy. (I’m still not sure if that’s a good thing or not?) I got up and closed the door. I walked down the hall and into mine and Brian’s room where he was watching TV in his boxers how predictable!

I crawled up beside him and he placed anarm around me. Before I knew it we were both asleep but not long woken by someone.

…Mommy!!!!!!

I opened my eyes to hear Brian running down the hall. And into my room.

Me: what is it love? Saying as I sat up.

Brian: I iii I had a bad dream! Tears filled his little eyes.

Me: oh it’s ok baby! I picked him up and he cuddled into my chest.

Brian: huh… what is going on? He was still half asleep.

Me: nothing babe everything’s taken care of.

Brian: oh ok…hey little man is everything ok?

Little Bri: uh huh. He was sucking his thumb by now.

Me: ok well you have to go to bed now. Mommy and Daddy both have work tomorrow.

Brian: noo!!! Can I sleeped with you?

Me: uh … fine

Me: shh calm down now.

I placed him down in between me and his father and before you could say goodnight he was fast asleep.

Ok now I know what your think “WHAT THE FUCK?” well I was thinking about this fic last night and was like well I left it at a good part so that’s why I am writing more! See I told you I could bring it back! :P

Year Later

 

So a lot has happened thru the past year. I had my son Brian Elwin Haner 3^rd    we just had to keep the name in the family! Brian (Syn) has been on tour for a really long time now the last time I saw him was… a week after Little Brian was born.

  He would call every night but it still wasn’t the same.

 

Thursday

 

I got up and fixed my hair and put a little eyeliner on. Made my way down the hall to Brian’s room. He was going to be a year old in 7 days. I couldn’t believe that Brian (Syn) missed that much of his son’s life, him learning to say his first words, crawling, and the hard nights where I was alone with a teething son in my arms. A lot has happened. I walked into the blue bedroom and over in the crib was my little boy still fast asleep. I slowly picked him up and he stirred a little but then went back to sleep when I started rocking him back and forth in the rocking chair that sat in the corner of the room.

FF next day

 

Afternoon

 

I was putting away the laundry when Brian crawled over by my feet and looked up at me.

Me: what is it Buddy?

All he did was point to the window.

Me: what you see something outside?

I picked him up and we both made our way over to the bedroom window.

Outside there was a black car in the driveway.

Me: who could that be?

…

Me: it wouldn’t…OH MY GOD I THINK IT IS!

I headed towards the door when it opened standing there was…Brian.

Me: uh!

Brian: …hey J

Me: Hhey

Brian: …hey little buddy

Little Brian just looked up at me with wide eyes I didn’t think he knew who was right in front of him.

Me: uh…? Brian this is your… daddy

Little Brian just gave that “WHO THE HELL ARE YOU” look back to his father. The weird thing was he almost looked pissed off. Because it was the same face Brian (Syn) would put on when he was angry.

 

…

Me: umm you want to hold him?

Brian: yeah…after this.

He came over and our lips crashed together. I put the arm that wasn’t holding little Brian around Brian’s neck and his arms soon came around behind me pulling me into a hug.

After a minute we both pulled away.

Me: I really missed you

Brian: I’m so sorry I haven’t been here for you Em and I know I might regret this in the future but right now all I want is to get to know my son and be there for you and him.

Tears filled my eyes, mostly from the stress and all the hate I had inside of me for him leaving me like that. But most of it was just cause I knew he knew that this wasn’t fair.

Brian: shh it’s ok daddy’s here holding me.

Me: haha very funny saying while I wiped the tears that fell.

Brian just gave me that smile.

…mommy

I looked down at little Brian he gave me that toothy smile and put out his arms.

Me: it’s seems he wants you.

Brian: uh :s

Me: it’s ok

I handed him to Brian and he reacted like he did when he was born that shocked look and held him like he was a glass doll.

I had to smile at the next part. Little Brian gave his father the cutest smile and looked at him as if he had just met his idol.

Me: aw

They both looked over to me. And my eyes grew wide. I looked at my son and my boyfriend; they looked so much alike that it didn’t look real.

Little Brian looked away and back up at his dad.

Brian Jr.: da …dadd…daddy   

Brian’s eyes went wide and a smile grew wide on his face.

Brian: did…did you hear that!?

Me: yeah I did

Brian: YEAH…Who am I?

Brian jr.: ddaddy

Brian: YEAH!!! He started spinning around with little Bri

Me: oh my god! Be careful!

I took little Brian back

Brian: oh! Sorry J

Me: uh I rolled my eyes.

I walked back into the laundry room to clean Brian’s clothes.

 

Later

 

I had spent the past 2 hours washing clothes and was getting really tired. I walked out of the room.

Me: umm I wonder where those two are.

I walked into Brian’s room to see him and his daddy fast asleep in the chair it was so cute god if I only had a camera.

I took the book that was in Brian’s hand and put it back on the shelf. Tucked Brian Jr. into bed and placed a blanket over my boyfriend (if he thought I was carrying him to bed pfft sorry not happening!) and walked out of the room.

I soon found myself falling asleep so I went into my room and fell asleep shortly after.

OK SO TODAY WAS PINK DAY ALL OVER NOVA SCOTIA. NOW I KNOW WHAT YOUR THINKING WHAT THE FUCK IS PINK DAY? WELL IT ALL STARTED LAST YEAR AT A RURAL HIGH SCHOOL CALL CENTRAL KINGS. WERE THIS BOY IN GRADE 9 WORE A PINK T-SHIRT TO SCHOOL AND THEN THESE  BULLYS STARTED PICKING ON HIM CALLING HIM NAMES AND WHATNOT. SO THEN THERE WAS TWO BOYS (IN GRADE 12)AND THEY WERE NOT HAPPY OF WHAT THESE BULLIES WERE DOING TO THIS KID SO THEY WENT DOWN TO A LITTLE CLOTHING STORE DOWN THE ROAD AND BOUGHT A BUNCH OF PINK SHIRTS AND WORE THEM AROUND THE SCHOOL. ONCE THE BULLIES SAW THE OTHER PEOPLE WEARING THESE SHIRTS THEY BACKED OFF. THIS STORY MADE HEAD LINES ALL OVER THE PROVINCE AND EVEN IN PAPERS THE USA AND OVER SEAS. THESE TWO BOYS MADE THAT ONE KID WHO THEY DIDN'T EVEN KNOW LIFE ALOT BETTER. NOW TODAY SCHOOLS ALL OVER WORE PINK AND THEY MADE TODAY AN OFFICAL PINK DAY!

Yeah so today was my first day of well high school i guess you could call it, i know year 9 and in high school well my school has different like the grade 8s and 7s have a different lunch and recsses and Lunch then the senior high which is grade 9,10,11 and 12 so im in with that yet they still call us jr high umm makes no sense but oh well. The thing i really hate is im like the only emo/scene kinda person even though i don't cut...anymore or do that kind of thing i hate it cuz there is only like preps and gangters/drug dealers in my home room i hate it! but thank god home room is only 10 mins lol! and for the rest of the classes i have one of each of my friends in LOL I LOVE IT!
