Chapter 11

“OMG I COULDN’T BELIEVE WHAT I SAW!!!”

I turned back to Mackenzie who was giggling at me.

Matt: hey!

Me: WHY ARE YOU ALL HERE?!

In the room stood Matt, Charlotte, Gemma, Brian, Johnny, Star, and Zack.

Jimmy was lying in the bed smile on his face.

Me: so Jimmy where’s this “chick” of yours sounding really pissed off.

Jimmy: uh like right in front of me!

Me: oh but charlotte…CHARLOTTE!

She just giggled.

Me: UGH! OMG!

Later

Me: so why are you guy’s home?

The only one I could see that would come home would be Jimmy since he got shot in the arm but was ok.

Matt: ugh we got this email saying that…we got picked to work at Warner Bros records and make an album

Me: WHAT! OH MY GOD! THAT’S AWESOME!

A few days later

So Jimmy was still healing but the doctors said he could come home.

We just got home when the phone went off.

Me: hello?

Matt: hey sis is jimmy home yet?

Me: yeah we just got back want to talk to him?

Matt: yeah

I handed the phone to Jimmy and he went off into the little office thingy.

I started to make dinner when he came out.

Jimmy: sorry babe but I got to go.

Me: got to go where?

Jimmy: Studio! Yeah we have a meeting thing with a couple producers!

I could tell he was happy and that made me happy.

Me: ok what time will you be home?

Jimmy: I don’t know I’ll call if it’s not too late ok. Kissing my cheek.

Me: ok don’t say too late

Jimmy: I won’t bye

Me: bye

He left and ran out to the car, zooming down the long paved driveway.

“Hmm I guess I’ll be dining along again tonight”

Later

So it had been 4 hours since Jimmy left I was sitting up in my bed, covers up around me watching TV. There was nothing on so I decided to turn it off making the whole room go even darker. The only real light was the small lamp to my left sitting on the bedside table. I reached over turned it off and then sunk down into the warm soft bed.

Jimmy’s POV

So it was around 11:30pm before I got home. Fucking producers had us try a song tonight gees if Emily knew I was playing she’d kick my ass. Doctor said not to play but I had too.

I drove up the smooth paved driveway. The house was dark not a light on at all. I turned off the engine of my car, making the lights go off leaving me in complete darkness.

I got out locked the doors which made a load beep and walked up to the door, opened it and the locked it after closing it. I walked up the stairs and down the hall to our room. I slowly opened the door. Quietly walked in striped down to my boxers then crawled in beside her. She was still sleeping, which was a good thing coz she wakes extremely easily. Took off my glasses placing them on the table beside the bed and then wrapped my arms around her. My head lied next to hers and then fell asleep to the sound of nothing for the first time in a LONG time.

Chapter 10

3 months later

Ok so Charlotte and Matt’s wedding was Beautiful! And the party after that was…Avenged style like always!

 Time to fight…

Today was the day…the day that wasn’t suppose to happen, a living fear…a nightmare.

I looked all around, oh how it brought back memories. I looked up at Jimmy. He was straight faced and dead serious.

“This wasn’t right! The jimmy I knew was a crazy, funny, an amazing guy. Not a straight, dead serious, THING! I had to be dreaming.

Jimmy: bye

Me: bye

“Wait a minute there were no tears?”

I looked around I saw mothers, sisters, girl friends, wives, cousins, daughters. Crying since most of the men didn’t. How come I wasn’t? Something’s not right here?

I looked back up to Jimmy and hugged him.

Me: bye… I love you

Jimmy: bye love you too.

He kissed me then went over to the others.

Matt came over and hugged me

Me: this isn’t right

Matt: I know but I have to go.

Me: yeah

He walked over with the others and then boarded the planes.

All the other girls were sobbing. I still wasn’t crying.

Home

I walked in the house…life was taking out of it. Nothing was going to be the same without him.

9 months later

I had gotten cards, emails, pictures from Jimmy and Matthew but they only made me miss them more. The girls and I didn’t really stay in touch all that much. I guess it was the fact that if we did the though of “them” would hurt too much.

I looked outside, another cloudy day. Another depressed moment.

Oh how they seemed so predictable all the time.

I stood there in a gaze, not caring, not thinking, not wanting to live…what else is new?

The sound of the house phone broke my stare.

I went over and looked at the caller ID [Charlotte]

Me: hi

Charlotte: Emily! Good your home…listen I have to tell you something

Me: yeah what is it?

Charlotte: well it’s about Jimmy

Me: what about him?

Charlotte: Emily...he…he

Me: he?

Charlotte: he is…home

Me: what?

Charlotte: yeah Mack said that she saw him at the hospital she works in.

Me: oh!

Charlotte: he was waiting for some…girl.

Me: huh?

Charlotte: Emily I don’t think he’s coming back…to you.

 I stood there

“I promised him that I would never forget him…instead he forgets me?”

Me: are you sure?

Charlotte: well she said that he was looking for a …Hillary? Or was it a Hannah I don’t know?

Me: but why?

Charlotte: I don’t know?

Me: has Matthew said anything?

Charlotte: nope…well he told me that jimmy was coming home…he got shot.

Me: oh! Should I go see him?

Charlotte: …yeah I think you should.

Me: ok

Hospital

Me: hey Mack

Mack: EMILY! OH MY GOD! IT’S BEEN FOREVER!

Hugging me.

Me: yeah…it has.

Mack: your looking for him aren’t you?

Me: yeah

Mack: ok this way.

…

Me: listen Mack does he remember you?

Mack: YES! OMG yes!!

I walked into the room and stopped dead in my tracks.

OMG I COULDN’T BELIEVE WHAT I SAW…

MAWHAHAHA SO I LEFT YOU ON AN AMAZING PART SO HERE IS WHAT YOU’VE BEEN WAITING FOR…NOTE: Charlotte…Matthew might need that uniform again…

Chapter 9

Matt: I don’t know how to say this but…

“Oh no what is it? Is it a good thing…bad thing? Oh did they get a record deal?! Or what? come on Matt spit it out already!”

Matt: uh…

Me: WHAT! TELL US!

Jimmy: Emily…it’s not what you think it could be.

Me: what? Ok is it good or bad?

(Trying to make things easier here now!)

Matt: uh…

I turned to Jimmy.

He just looked down.

Me: so “it” isn’t good…

Brian: no…unless you mean going back good.

Charlotte: going back where? Matt where are you going?

Matt just got up and left the room.

Me: TELL US ALREADY! JIMMY PLEASE!

He looked at me a way I’d never think I would see. He stood up straight and had an expressionless face on.

Me: well…

Jimmy: Emily… we all got a call…a call to go back… over seas.

My eyes shot wide

Me: GO BACK! OH MY GOD!

I looked over and the other girls were in the same amount of shock I was.

“How could this be happening, Matt escaped all of this? And now…he has to go back”

Charlotte: what…what about the wedding?

Matt: I don’t know… we can have it but…then I have to go back.

Everyone just stood there in silence.

…

I got up

Me: well you leave in 3 months…lets enjoy this time now then waste another minute.

Jimmy: yeah…

Gemma: I guess Johnny will the only guy around now…

 Johnny: uh…no

Me: what?

Johnny: they asked me too

Charlotte: what!

Me: you can’t though

Jimmy: come on Emily I have to talk to you…

He lead me outside on the porch and I looked up at him tear filled eyes.

Jimmy: Em babe don’t cry

Too late I was already crying and I couldn’t stop the tears running down my face.

He cupped my face and looked into my eyes.

Jimmy: Promise me something.

Me: what?

Jimmy: promise me that you will never forget me…

Me: I couldn’t help but cry harder when he said that.

Me: I won’t I PROMISE YOU THAT.

“This was way over my head I had to lose my brother, friends and my fiancée all at once…why was this happening…AGAIN!”

Anger over filled the sadness.

All I knew was this wasn’t going to end well…

Ok so you guys thought I stopped writing this fic well no not exactly I am only writing it when I have the time/ when I want to so you’re lucky ok. Anyways here you go!-Emily

Chapter 8

Months later almost a year.

I woke up in the arms of the man I loved. Jimmy was still asleep. I got out of the bed and made my way to the bathroom.

Ok so a lot has happened. My birthday had just passed and I am now 18. So yeah it was hard to believe that almost 2 years ago all the guys had left for…war.

So let’s see. Gemma and Brian’s wedding was amazing. It was like a fairy tale, everything was so perfect. That night was insane though! Lot’s of drinking and partying. So back to the birthday, it was really awesome. The girls planned me a party (I already knew about) coz they knew I HATE surprise parties. That night I got into my best clothes and went out to dinner with Jimmy. He ended up purposing to me on the beach on the way home. I was crying coz he said a bunch of stuff about the past and stuff. So yeah. The guys band is still trying to make it big but things are not working out so well. Jimmy normally comes home angry coz they all end up getting into it and start fighting. He normally doesn’t come home until early in the morning.

I was fixing my hair and make up and then walked out of the bathroom.

Jimmy was still fast asleep. So I decide to leave him be.

Later

I was cleaning up the house when my phone started going off.

Me: hello

Matt: hey sis, uh is Jimmy around?

Me: uh no he just went to the store why need me to tell him something?

Matt: uh nah never mind just tell him to call me back when he gets back

Me: ok then bye

Matt: bye

 I flipped the phone over and continued to clean up the house.

Week Later

So I was over at Charlotte’s house. Mack and Gem were also over. We where all helping out for Charlotte and Matt’s wedding which was going to be in 3 months!!!

Me: so what’s next on the schedule?

Charlotte: …CAKE!

Gemma: CAKE YAY THAT’S THE FUN PART! J

We were looking at all the different designs and styles when the guys came in the house.

 Mack: what’s the matter?

Johnny: Ugh nothing

Mack: you sure?

Matt: no

Me: what’s going on? I was a little concerned

Jimmy: we just got a call.

Me: and?

Matt: I don’t know how to say this but…
